Surgery

I had OBGYN reconstructive surgery on Tuesday May 24th. It was a hard decision to finally commit to having it done. I went into surgery about 8:15am and didn't get back to my room until 5:30. It was scheduled for 4 1/2 hours but went almost 7 1/2. There was a lot of scar tissue they had to deal with but the end result should be worth it! Thanks for all the texts, calls, flowers that I received in the hospital! Made my day :)

A twins game and a baptism :)

We were down in Minneapolis for a very special weekend! I got to be the Godmother to a darling little girl :) Peyton Elise Atanasio...she will join a very elite group of children that I have gotten to be a Godmother :) We got to enjoy a twins game the day before...even though it was cold, it was fun!

Mothers Day 2011

Happy Mothers Day to all you AMAZING mamas out there :) Mothers Day to me means we get to celebrate the most amazing woman in the world....my mama. My mom is hands down, second to none the best mom I could ever ask for. She makes me want to be a better person...she is So forgiving and lets things roll off her shoulder. She loves her family more than anything in the world. She makes EVERYONE feel special, EVERYDAY. She truly is the best role model and mother. I am SO very lucky. I hope one day I can be half the mom my mom is for me :) Here are some pictures of our Mothers day Brunch at the Ramada today. Fun in Wolf Lake

We went to Wolf Lake for a visit this past weekend. We had SO much fun being outside (when it wasn't raining!) The highlight of Presleys weekend was going to L & M Fleet Supply to see the baby chicken and ducks. Presley LOVED them! We also went to a cute little nursery and walked around and checked out all the gorgeous flowers. Cant wait to start planting some soon!!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Backhoe for the fun time :)

Tubbies with Murphy

Presley LOVES to take her "tubbies" every night....and it is a MUST that Murphy be in there as well. She loves getting his face all wet and letting him lick her. She absolutely ADORES her puppy and we are SO lucky that he adores her right on back :)

Presleys Parents Day

Presley had a Parents day at school. Since daddy was busy working mom, Grandma and Grandpa came! The BEST part was the pictures she drew of Nick and I. How old we are ( 1 and 2 :) our favorite colors, our favorite foods :) Presley LOVED the attention she was getting from Grandma and Grandpa! She sang some of her favorite songs in circle group as well. I told her since she did SO well I would take her wherever she wanted to go for lunch and she picked Buffalo Wild Wings for Mac and Cheese......yummmm o :)

Sibling LOVE :)

I cannot tell you in words how much Presley and Parker truly love each other. Being twins they have a strong bond.....but I think their bond is on a whole new level. Presley knows that Parker is special and helps him in anyway she can. Presley has never asked why Parker cannot walk, she accepts him for who he is. She talks to him and makes up his responses back. She helps get him ready in the morning.....She LOVES her brother. Parker looks at his sister with those big blue eyes and I know if he could, he would tell her how much he loves him. He looks at her with the cutest grin, and laughs at her bad jokes. Their love for each other is completely amazing, pure and most of all, innocent. They just love each other for who they are. I love watching Presley push Parker in his wheelchair. She is so proud of her brother, and that makes us SO proud.
